My precious son Noah would not be here today if he hadn't received a Heart Transplant on 07.07.07.
I hope by passing this award around the blogging world we can all help raise awareness of the need for Organ Donation.

The rules of this award are: SHARE THE LOVE!!! Share this award with all those blogs out there that you love. All the people who make you smile. All those that make you laugh. All those that make your day. All those that leave uplifting comments on your blog. **All I ask, is that you include a link to this post with the award and ask your recipient to do the same**
As you may have recently seen on my side bar, I have finally created a custom blog award!! I have wanted to do this for a long time but never came up with something that "fit". I didn't want just anything. It had to be something that meant something to me. And what could mean more than Sharing the Love by giving you pieces of my heart??
So I created this award in Honor Of The Donor That Saved Noah's Life. I share this award with those of you whose love and friendship have enriched my life and made my world a better place.

**All I ask, is that you include a link to this post with the award and ask your recipient to do the same**
So get sharing and then come back here and check out who I am going to be sharing my love with. (I'll be sharing my love within the next few days.)

Hi Crystal,
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that sweet face of your little guy Noah!
I just received this award and traced it back here. I am so glad I did. What a wonderful award, for an absolutely precious reason, to honor your son and his heart donor and the precious pieces of your heart. I am so proud to be receiving this award, and will give it away with much honor and love!

ReplyDeleteHi Crystal, What a beautiful little boy with a smile that just tugged at my heart. I am a grandmother and I know these little precious gifts from God... What a blessing to have received an award with such a heartfelt meaning, in more ways than one. I will, with much honor and appreciation, post it for others to see and pass it on. I love your header!...Good blessings for the day sweet little mother...Dee Dee
ReplyDeleteI just received this award today from someone and had to stop by and leave you a comment. Your lil boy is beautiful and I am so happy to read such an inspirational story. My son is my world and this really touches my heart. Thank you for sharing the love...
ReplyDeleteI was just tagged with this award by giftofgreen.blogspot.com. As it happens, friends of ours had a baby who had heart issues and a number of surgeries in his short life, which sadly ended less than a year after it began. It warms my own heart to hear that your own lovely baby is thriving after his surgery, and I pray that God will continue to bless you all!
ReplyDeleteCrystal, Noah is so precious and so is your daughter. I came here to learn more about the award Sharing the Love!!! And now, I
ReplyDeletebelieve it has even more meaning!
I thank God that your prayers were answered and Noah received his heart transplant! I pray that he continues to be strengthened and
grows to know Jesus through you Sharing the Love! How precious!
I've added you to my favorites!
Thank you for developing something to honor your love for your son and those that donate organs of such great need! I pray that it does just what you wanted: raise
awareness and more donors, too!
Grateful for your story shared!
Be blessed as you bless many!
I was blessed with this award by the lovely Vee at http://ahavenforvee.blogspot.com and I could not be more proud. I am so glad that little Noah is doing so well and what a delight it must be to see that picture of his glowing face! Prayers for him are still going out I'm sure, but please allow me to add my voice to Heaven's list
ReplyDeleteSandi
Sandi just passed this lovely award on to me. I appreciate it so much.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest grandson is Noah. He was born last November.
We lost Noah's brother Elijah, a year before (11/06), to PUVs. His parents, my daughter and son in law, donated Elijah's body to Washington University (St Louis)in hopes this might help solve the mystery of PUVs.
Noah has severe allergies, but is thriving. We are, indeed, so very blessed.
Your Noah is a doll baby. What a sweet face. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
Pat
Gosh what a doll! He is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason his little face reminds me a lot of my baby girl Autumn... you can see her pics on my blog.
GOD BLESS and Im happy to hear he is doing well :)
Such a beautiful award. Noah is just darling.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your family.
Melissa
This award was passed on to me and I'm passing it forward. It's a very important issue. I have the organ donor indicator on my drivers license and my family knows that's the way I want it if something happens to me. What a happiness for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a meaningful reason for an award, and a great way to spread the word! All of my family are indicated as organ donors, including the children. We know the importance of the gift of life first hand. I am a 2-time stem-cell transplantee. Not sure if that's the word, but I've had 2! Of course, stem-cells are a simple donation compared to an organ, but they are still life-giving for the patient, and life-affirming for the families!
ReplyDeleteI may have to steal this idea and do a similar award for stem-cell donation, if you don't mind.
A wonderful idea to spread the word of organ donation. Such a wonderful idea, & look at your beautiful son!
ReplyDeleteYour son is beautiful and so is the award. Your family pic in your header is gorgeous too!
ReplyDeleteAdorable little boy!
ReplyDeleteI just received your award. I wanted to thank you for creating it. I don't think I really deserve it but my friend who nominated me does and that means alot. What a sweetie Noah is. I love his chubby checks and his cute hair. Give him a hug for me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great award, It's a great thing to make people think about organ transplants. About 21/2 years ago my 17year old daughter's heart suddenly stopped, she was rushed to the hospital where they kept her alive for about 20 hours. She had suffered massive brain damage, and we soon learned there was no hope. My husband and I were so distraught we could not think straight, and I have regretted so much the fact that we did not donate her organs. Loosing a child is something you just don't think will ever happen to you, and I wish so much that she could have helped someone else not go through what we had to.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little face, love those little cheeks!!
ReplyDeleteI just received your award from Rose_Michelle and reading your blog is a lesson in being faithful and faith filled. Your family is beautiful - how blessed you are to have these adorable children. And it is a blessing to us to come along on your journey.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless you.
I'm so honored to receive this award! The testimony is so powerful. It's an honor to pass it on.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your sweet family!

I, and I'm sure many others, have said a little prayer for the family of your donor, and also for little Noah. Won't it be something for Noah to read about all of this when he grows up.

ReplyDeleteI have never seen another child with cheeks like my son, until yours. Thank you for being so proactive with your blog. i love to see other moms going through similar things and what they are able to do with their time and emotions. Thank you for your example.
ReplyDeleteI received this award and wanted to stop by and say thank you! Your little guy is precious. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful child you have and what a thoughtful award you have created. It is always so sad when one child has to lose their life to save the life of another. But your appreciation of that great sacrifice by honoring the donor is very touching. May you all have a long happy life.
